Logan's first dance recital

Logan took dance for about a half a year for the first time and loved it! She had her little friends Peyton and Caitlyn in her class which made it fun too! I didn't get any pictures really of her at the recital because we were too far away to see anything with our stupid camera but here is Caitlyn and Logan before they went on stage! Logan did great, dancing and gymnastics is definitely her thing right now! She was so proud that she is so close on her splits and can do one handed cartwheels. She had to learn how to do them one handed when she broke her arm but still thinks it is cool to do! Logan is the second girl from the right on the front row in the green!

Logan's Birthday! She is 6!!!

This year for Logan's birthday the only thing she wanted was a Justin Bieber party with her friends! We borrowed Cassidy's life size Justin Bieber cutout and took Logan's picture with him for her invitations. The great thing about having a summer birthday is being able to do it outside. This year we actually got a little scared that it was going to be raining on the day of her party but it turned out to be pretty nice! Nice enough for the kids to play outside in the water and run around without being cold!
She invited a bunch of friends this year including Peyton, Kallee, Jaiden, Oliver, Caitlyn, Cierra, Maddie, Ranger, Scout, Erin, Cooper and Campbell. She was also happy this year because all of her cousins, including Elliott and Rya, got to come too! So Elliott, Rya, Mackinlee, Wyatt and then her sisters Karsyn and Kennedy all got to play too! They ran around and played for a little while and then we decided to play with the water balloon popping things! The kids sat in a circle and there were 2 water balloon things that when the timer went off in the it popped the water balloon all over the unlucky, or lucky, kid! Oh the simple games that entertain kids!

After we did a few rounds of popping the water balloons we let the kids run free popping the water balloons on each other! They had fun with that of course but I can't ever believe how long it takes to fill up the balloons and then how fast they are all gone!

We told them all to get the birthday girl! She thought it was fun for about 2.5 seconds then she started crying...
...and went up and got her towel.
She got over it real quick cuz it was time for "pin the microphone on Justin Bieber". Exciting, I know!
Logan was first and did pretty good! The microphone down yander on Justin's pants wasn't Logan's, it was Karsyn's I believe. I laughed!

Each of the kids got to take a turn and they all did pretty good. I guess where they needed to pin it was right at their level! They still had fun!

Next Logan got to open all her fun presents from her friends and cousins! She got so many great things, everyone knows her so well! She got a bunch of crafty stuff, which she loves, and a few Justin Bieber things including her own life size cut out and some jewelry and a shirt from Grandma Lindee!

I couldn't find any Justin Bieber cakes anywhere so we decided purple and black cupcakes for the kids would work just fine! The kids thought they were fun! So here is Logan blowing out her cupcake candles!

Had to throw this great picture of Uncle Clay having a great time at the party!
Last we did the pinata! We did a guitar pinata and luckily it worked great because there were a million kids and they all got a swing at it before it came down to the big boys at the end and they broke it!
Kennedy and Karsyn probably didn't even touch the thing but they still wanted a turn!
Wyatt giving it a hit!
And Rya!
Kinlee too! For some reason I only got pictures of Logan's cousins haha! oops!

After all her friends were gone Kurt and I got to give Logan her gift from us! I wanted to capture her face when she opened it but she didn't really react too much!
She got a new motorized scooter! Her cousin's Jake and Karlee have them and when she saw theirs she had a broken arm and couldn't ride them very good but really wanted one. We were a little scared her first few tries, she biffed it a few times but now she is really good! She loves it!

Logan is such a sweet little girl. We just love her! She just started 1st grade and is liking it so far. She is really shy and doesn't talk a lot about what she does at school and who she is friends with until she decides she wants to, then she doesn't stop! She is a great learner though and has learned so much in Kindergarten and now 1st grade! She is reading small books on her own and is still very into anything art and crafty. She is a great big sister and the twins just look up to her so much! We love you Logan Jane!

May in a nutshell since I am soooo behind!

Well once again I am very very behind but since May wasn't super exciting, I will give it to you in one post! With the weather not being so spring like in May, we spent a lot of days playing with friends...inside! We went with a bunch of our old neighbor friends to Chuck E Cheese! Here are the girls with Peyton and Kallee eating pizza!
Logan and Peyton riding the horse together!
The girls absolutely love Kallee! Kennedy stuck with her the whole time pretty much, making it kinda nice for me!
Logan played soccer again this spring. She didn't love playing and claims that she is NEVER playing again. I signed her up again in the fall hahaha. She doesn't love all the running around and the little pushes she gets while playing haha!

Karsyn watching Logan play soccer! The girls love going to watch her play and also love that Grandma and Grandpas come to watch and then they get to play with them!

Now this is what Logan is so into! She got her costume for her first dance recital and then had to have her pictures taken. She really didn't want to take it off so she had to get a few pictures at home taken with it! This girl loves to dress up and dance!
Pose it girl!
Well whatever Logan decided that she did or didn't like changed a few weeks ago when she fell off the monkey bars at one of our soccer games. Kurt and I were both playing and Logan was playing with her friend Cooper. She came over towards the end of the game and was crying that she fell off and she wouldn't move her arm. She cried once we got home and was absolutely freaking out when I told her that I needed to run her to the doctor to see if it was broken. She really didn't want to go so after fighting with her about it, I put her in the tub and put her to bed. I told her that if she still couldn't move it in the morning, she would have to go to the doctor. Of course, she couldn't move it so we called her doctor in the morning and took her in. It was broken right in the middle of her elbow. Because she was so swollen he put her in a splint and sling and told us to come back in one week and we would put a hard cast on. After one week the swelling was still too bad to cast it. He took another xray and said that we should come back in 2 weeks to check it again, just keeping the splint one. She was so prepared to finally get a colored hard cast that people could write on, when he said that, she freaked out again. She was very upset that she had to keep the "brown" cast on. To make her happy, we had Aunt Hailey bring home some colored coban tape home so we could put that over the top of the bandage and it would be color! She actually thought that was great because she could change the color and take it oft to have a bath. Well we went back after 2 weeks and the doctor said that it looked pretty good and for us to leave the splint on for one more week then take it off! He then called me a few hours later, as we were heading out of town for the weekend, and said that the radiologist thought that the xray showed that one of the bones was displaced and we needed to come in and xray the right arm to compare. Her doctor left out of town so I just scheduled an appointment with an orthopedic doc and saw him on Monday. He looked at the xrays and told us that it looked good and to take the splint off for good! She was soooo excited to hear that, we also were glad to hear that they weren't going to have to put pins in it and have surgery!

The doc couldn't believe how swollen and bruised it got.
Anywho, here are the twinners eating their chocolate easter bunnies and hanging out on the deck! These were all too funny to pick one!

We decided that since a bunch of the neighbor kids were playing tball on her team, it would be a good idea for Logan to still go to the games with her cast on and just do what she could! She just stuck her mit on her casted arm and stood out in the field, couldn't even bat :( Needless to say, she hated it. She said it was so boring and didn't want to play.
So I guess you can say her "1st" year of tball wasn't such a great experience. We will try again next year even though this girl doesn't seem to be into this sporty stuff!
Now for the Lagoon pictures! We will be spending a lot of time here because we all decided to get season passes for the summer! Logan is so lucky to have such a good Daddy to take her on the big kid rides since Mommy gets sick just looking at the rides!
I love seeing the girl's faces on all the rides...pure excitement! Nothing is better than seeing your kids so happy!
Good old Bulgy the Whale!!! Always a favorite!

The swings! Daddy rode with Kennedy since she is technically too short to ride this one. Half the time the operator lets her on and half the time she can't! She doesn't quite understand why Karsyn can ride and she can't!
We decided to take the kids on the big Ferris Wheel and show them how high it goes! Logan cried the second we started. It is funny to see what kids are scared of, considering Logan loves all the roller coasters and stuff, I was surprised! Once I moved her closer to me, she seemed to better.

Karsyn and Kennedy loved it! They thought it was fun that we told them we could see Grandma Swim Swim's house...even though you can't really anymore because of all the huge trees. Growing up my sisters and I would always go on that and see her house!

And the boats...thank goodness the girls don't have to go on that ride too many times...the line is always forever long because of how long it takes to load and unload all the kids!
